Pool Parties
POOL REGULATION § 102.3 (POOL PARTIES GENERALLY AND POOL PARTIES DURING REGULAR POOL OPERATION HOURS)   To ensure staffing - reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance.
 
  • Members may arrange to have Pool Parties at the pool.
  • Pool Parties of more than 25 persons require prior approval of the Gingerville Pool Committee/Board.
  • All Pool Parties regardless of size require approval of the Pool Management Contractor.
    • Please Submit a Pool Party Request via the RESERVATIONS drop down Menu 
    • Submitted Requests will be sent for approval to Gingerville Commitee/Board and the Pool Management Company
    • Parties of more than 25 people require contracting an extra life-guard. 
    • A Pool Party is not official until Member receives an APPROVAL EMAIL and security deposit or payments are made (if required)
  • Any additional costs resulting from the pool party shall be paid by the Member electing to have the pool party (i.e. additional life guard fees).
 
POOL REGULATION § 102.4 (POOL PARTIES OUTSIDE OF REGULAR POOL OPERATION HOURS AND LARGE PARTIES)     To ensure Staffing - reservations must be made at least 14 days in advance.
 
  • Any party that involves extending pool operation hours regardless of size requires a detailed written request and approval of the Gingerville Pool Committee/Board.
  • Any party that will potentially include more than 50 people requires a detailed written request and approval of the Gingerville Pool Committee/Board.
  • The sponsor of the pool party shall coordinate with the Pool Management Contractor and shall pay any variable cost associated with the party and the extension of pool hours (i.e. fees and lifeguard cost).
  • In addition to payments to the Pool Contractor, a nonrefundable $100 fee payable to Gingerville Community Association AND a refundable $300.00 security deposit(Payable to Gingerville Community Association, Inc.) is required at time of submission.
  • The security deposit may be returned to the sponsor within 30 days following the event after inspection of the facilities to ensure proper clean-up and condition of facility.
  • The pool party sponsor shall be responsible for any damage to the facility as a result of the event, including if the damage is in excess of the refundable deposit.
  • Canceled parties will not result in a refund of any fee or variable cost incurred other than the refundable security deposit.
  • The party sponsor is responsible for cleaning the pool area, bath rooms, and removal of all generated trash from the premises at the end of the party.
  • Members will be charged an additional fee if the pool is not properly cleaned after their party.
  • It shall be the sole responsibility of the sponsor to ensure safety and compliance and enforcement of all Gingerville Community Pool Regulations.
  • The resident sponsor shall be responsible and liable for maintaining order and proper behavior during all sponsored pool parties.
  • The parents or heads of households of adult children (over 21 years of age), that sponsor a party at the Pool or recreation facilities, shall assume all responsibility for all pool and recreation facility functions and enforcement of all regulations by their adult children.
  • At least one household adult resident (minimum age 21 or older) must be present at the pool party at all times.
  • Pool events require the presence of ‘The Sponsor’ and adults on-site at all times.
  • Adult chaperones shall maintain an adult to children ratio of not less than 1:4.
